Myron L. Weisfeldt, past director of the Department of Medicine (2001–14) at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, will give a talk titled "Why Do We Have a Department of Medicine in the School of Medicine?" in honor of David A. Kass, a professor of cardiology and of medicine at the School of Medicine, at the 2026 Dean's Distinguished Mentoring Award.
